The biggest island at Adriatic in the inside part of Kvarner’s island. Plentiful part with milder climate is situated in the northwest and west part of island, were are situated all tourist resorts as well.
Krk is one of the most visiting islands. Krk is connected with land with bridge, which use mobs of visitors in the summer times. The ferry transportation is from Merag (Cres) to Valbiska (at land) and from Baska at south of island to Lopar at island Rab. The transportation at island is easy, because between towns are bus connection. The chief occupations are tourism, farming, fishing and the breeding of sheep.
